My work is all about the romantic relationship between the Users, Digital Products, and the Businesses who want you to love those digital products (or services). Sometimes it's complicated, but everything about LOVE is complicated and always always worth the effort 💜

The insight was immediate: you can’t remind someone about a payment they haven’t yet made on your platform. We couldn’t build a payment assistant for users who weren’t yet in the habit of paying through the app. The first phase of the launch couldn’t be a replica of Brazil—it had to be a seed phase: planting the behavior first so we could harvest it later.

Hi, I'm Sakura, a feminist professional with expertise in Product Strategy, User Experience Design, and User Experience Research. My focus lies in understanding the intricate dynamics of user interactions with products and services and their real-world implications.

Throughout my career (12+ years around UX 🙈 and 15+ years around Design 🙊), I have developed a solid foundation in building and growing design and multidisciplinary teams, project management, mentoring and coaching people both individually and in teaching courses. Guiding individuals in Product Design and research is a satisfying aspect of my job.

I specialize in formulating effective design strategies, analyzing digital products and services, developing, debating, and prioritizing requirements as well as executing product and interface designs.

In the last 6 years, I have had the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary and product design teams with a human and efficient approach. I genuinely believe a healthy team is a high-performance team and where I have experienced it best is in my last role as Head of Product Design of a global company.
